Policies

These policies explain how PipaBoy handles your account and privacy, who owns the stories the community writes, how AI synthesis works, how we moderate content, and what happens when a community story becomes a film.

Section 01

Privacy Policy

Why PipaBoy Uses Information

PipaBoy is a collaborative storytelling platform. Thousands of people read the same story, submit their own ideas for what happens next, and an AI system fuses those ideas into the next official chapter. Making that work requires a small amount of information: something to identify your account, the creative content you choose to submit, and a record of which contributions reached canon so you can be credited and ranked.

We use information to operate the platform, credit creators accurately, run levels and rankings, keep the community safe, meet our legal obligations, and improve the product over time.

Our goal is not to know more about you than we need to. We aim to use the minimum information reasonably necessary to make PipaBoy work.

Our Principle

We need an account. We do not need your identity.

A PipaBoy account exists so that your contributions, credits, level, and rankings stay attached to you across sessions and across story weeks. It does not exist to build a profile of who you are offline. We ask for a display name and a way to sign in — not your legal name, home address, government ID, employer, or contact list. Where we can operate on pseudonymous data, we do.

This principle describes how we approach privacy. It does not replace the specific disclosures below, which describe what PipaBoy actually collects, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and who receives it.

Scope of This Policy

PipaBoy ("we", "us", "our") operates this policy for pipaboy.com, the PipaBoy web and mobile applications, PipaBoy story worlds and rooms, our contact forms, and any PipaBoy events. Sections labeled In Development describe features that have not launched yet; we will update this policy, and where required obtain consent, before those features begin collecting information.

This policy does not cover third-party services you reach from PipaBoy, app marketplaces that distribute our applications, or the separate privacy practices of any partner or rights-holder that operates a co-branded world. Those services have their own policies.

Who Is Responsible for Your Information

PIPABOY is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For questions, requests, or complaints, contact us using the form at the bottom of this page. If we appoint a representative in the European Union or the United Kingdom, or a data protection officer, we will name them here.

What This Website Collects Today

The pipaboy.com marketing pages are static. They do not set cookies, run analytics, use advertising or tracking technologies, create accounts, process payments, or store visitor information in a PipaBoy database.

Information you choose to provide. When you submit a contact form on this site, you send us your name, email address, an optional phone number, an optional company or organization, the topic you select, and your message. That submission is delivered by a third-party form provider (FormSubmit), which relays it to our email and applies a spam check. Please share only what is needed to answer your question.

Information generated automatically by the providers who deliver this site. Requests to pipaboy.com are handled by service providers that necessarily receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, and the time of the request. Our website host (GitHub Pages) processes this to serve and secure the site, and our form provider processes it to deliver form submissions and limit spam. These pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request — including your IP address — directly to Google when a page loads.

PipaBoy does not receive visitor analytics reports from these providers, does not build visitor profiles, and does not combine this technical information with anything else.

Accounts — What We Collect and Why

When account-based story worlds launch, creating a PipaBoy account will involve the following, and no more than the following:

  • A sign-in credential. Either an email address, or a third-party sign-in (for example an app marketplace or identity provider) that returns an opaque account identifier to us. Where a provider offers a private-relay or hidden-email option, that option is fully supported and we treat the relay address as your address.
  • A display name (handle). This is the name shown on your contributions, credits, and rankings. It does not have to be your real name, and we ask that it not be. You may change it, subject to anti-impersonation limits.
  • An internal account identifier. A random identifier we generate. It is what actually links your contributions, level, and credits together.
  • Authentication data. A salted password hash if you use a password, plus session tokens, and — if you enable it — two-factor authentication settings. We never store your password in readable form.
  • Optional profile details. A short bio, avatar, pronouns, and links you choose to add. All optional, all public if provided.

What we do not ask for. We do not require or request your legal name, date of birth beyond an age band, home or mailing address, phone number, government identification, photograph of your face, contact list, precise geolocation, health information, biometric identifiers, or any special category data. Please do not submit any of it. If you send us sensitive information we did not ask for, we will delete it when we identify it.

Creative Contributions and Community Activity

The core of the service is content you deliberately create and submit. We collect and store:

  • The text of every idea, submission, comment, character proposal, world-rule proposal, or other creative contribution you send, together with the world, room, chapter, and time it was submitted.
  • Whether a contribution was selected into canon, partially incorporated, or not used, and the resulting points, level progress, ranking position, badges, and credits.
  • Votes, reactions, favourites, follows, and other audience signals you give or receive.
  • Reports you file, appeals you submit, and moderation decisions affecting your account or your content.

Contributions that reach canon are published under your display name and become part of the permanent public record of that story. See the Creator Content & Rights Policy for what that means for ownership, credit, and adaptation.

Technical and Usage Information

  • Device and connection data: IP address, browser or app version, operating system, device model, language, time zone, and crash diagnostics.
  • Service logs: requests to our servers, sign-in events, errors, and rate-limit or abuse-prevention signals.
  • Product usage: which chapters you opened, when the app was used, and aggregate feature usage, used to understand whether the product works and to size capacity.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not run third-party advertising or behavioural ad networks, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Payments — In Development

If and when PipaBoy offers paid features, payment card details will be collected and processed directly by a third-party payment processor or by the app marketplace that distributes our application. PipaBoy does not receive or store complete payment card credentials on its own systems. We receive a transaction record: what was purchased, the amount, the currency, the time, the status, and a processor reference — enough to provide the purchase, support it, and meet tax and accounting obligations.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: creating and maintaining your account, receiving and publishing your contributions, running levels, credits and rankings, and delivering purchases.
  • Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure and available, preventing fraud, spam, and abuse, moderating content, understanding aggregate product usage, and defending legal claims. We balance these against your rights and use the least intrusive method available.
  • Consent: optional marketing emails, optional analytics or cookies that are not strictly necessary, and any optional feature we describe as consent-based. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already took place.
  • Legal obligation: tax and accounting records, responding to lawful requests, and meeting online-safety, copyright, and consumer-protection duties.

How We Use Information

  • To operate story worlds: publish chapters, accept submissions, run the nightly synthesis, and publish the resulting canon.
  • To attribute and credit contributions accurately, and to calculate points, levels, rankings, awards, and permanent canon credits.
  • To maintain accounts, authenticate sign-ins, and let you recover access.
  • To keep the community safe: detect spam, manipulation, vote fraud, multiple-account abuse, harassment, and illegal content; act on reports; and enforce our Community Guidelines.
  • To provide support and respond to your messages, requests, and appeals.
  • To improve the product, measure whether features work, and debug failures.
  • To meet legal obligations, including copyright notice-and-takedown, online safety duties, tax, and lawful requests.
  • To communicate service information: chapter drops, cutoff reminders, moderation outcomes, and policy changes. Marketing messages are separate and optional.

How Information Is Used With AI Systems

The nightly synthesis reads the creative submissions made in a story world and produces the next chapter. That process operates on the content of submissions and the world's own canon and rules. It is described in full in the AI Disclosure & Synthesis Policy. In summary:

  • Submitted creative content is processed by AI systems, including models operated by third-party AI providers acting as our processors under contract.
  • We instruct our AI providers not to use PipaBoy content to train their general-purpose foundation models, and we select providers who contractually support that instruction.
  • We may use submissions and their outcomes to improve PipaBoy's own selection, ranking, safety, and synthesis systems. Where we do, we work with the creative content and outcome data rather than with account identity, and aggregate or de-identify wherever it is workable.
  • We do not feed your account email, sign-in credential, IP address, or payment data into a story-generation model.
  • No decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you is made by automated processing alone. Whether an idea reaches canon is a creative outcome, not a legal one, and you can always ask a human to review a moderation decision — see Community Guidelines & Moderation.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose information only in these situations:

  • Publicly, by your own action: your display name, avatar and bio, published contributions, canon credits, level, badges, and ranking position are visible to other users and to the public. Do not put anything in a submission that you would not want published permanently.
  • Service providers (processors) acting on our instructions: hosting and content delivery, database and storage, authentication, email delivery, error monitoring, customer support tooling, payment processing, and AI providers used for synthesis and safety classification. Each is bound by contract to process only on our instructions and to protect the data.
  • App marketplaces: where our application is distributed through a marketplace, that marketplace processes purchases, refunds, and — where required by law — age-signal and parental-consent status.
  • Rights holders and complainants: where a copyright notice is filed, we may pass the notice, including its contents, to the person who posted the material, as required by law.
  • Legal, safety, and regulatory: where required by law, court order, or a valid legal request; to investigate suspected violations; to protect the rights, property, or safety of PipaBoy, our users, or the public; and to establish or defend legal claims.
  • Corporate transactions: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the transferred information.
  • Adaptation partners: if a story you contributed to is selected for adaptation, we may share the credited display names of contributing creators with the production so you can be credited. We do not hand over your account email or other account data for that purpose without asking you first.

We will maintain and make available on request a current list of the categories of service providers we use.

California and U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

This section supplements the rest of this policy for residents of California and of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws. In the twelve months preceding the date of this policy, we collect or expect to collect the following statutory categories:

  • Identifiers — account identifier, display name, email or sign-in identifier, IP address. Sources: you, your device, your sign-in provider. Purposes: account operation, authentication, security, support, attribution. Disclosed to: hosting, authentication, email, and support providers.
  • Commercial information — purchase and refund records, if paid features launch. Sources: you, payment processor, app marketplace. Purposes: delivering and supporting purchases, accounting, fraud prevention. Disclosed to: payment processors, marketplaces, accounting providers.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — service logs, app and feature usage, crash diagnostics. Sources: your device and our servers. Purposes: operating, securing, and improving the service. Disclosed to: hosting, error monitoring, and analytics providers.
  • Coarse location inferred from IP — country or region level only. Sources: your device. Purposes: security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and content availability. Disclosed to: hosting and security providers.
  • User-generated creative content — submissions, comments, votes, reports, appeals. Sources: you. Purposes: operating the storytelling service, publication, attribution, moderation, and improvement of our own systems. Disclosed to: the public (where published), hosting providers, and AI providers acting as processors.
  • Inferences — level, ranking, contribution quality signals, and abuse-risk signals derived from your activity. Sources: derived by us. Purposes: operating levels and rankings, and preventing abuse. Disclosed to: service providers as needed to operate the platform.

Sensitive personal information. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information. Account credentials are handled as sensitive and are used solely to authenticate you — we do not use or disclose them for inferring characteristics, which means we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit its use.

No sale, no sharing. We have not sold personal information and have not shared it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the preceding twelve months, and we do not do so today. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Your rights. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know or access, to obtain a portable copy, to correct, to delete, to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, to limit use of sensitive personal information, to opt out of profiling with legal or similarly significant effects, and to appeal a refusal. We do not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise them. Use the contact form on this page or the in-product privacy controls once accounts launch. We will verify your request against the account it concerns — for a pseudonymous account, verification normally means demonstrating control of the account rather than proving your legal identity. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission and, where required, verification from you directly. We respond within the time your state's law requires, and where a law provides a right to appeal a refusal, we will tell you how.

Your Rights (EEA, UK, and Similar Regimes)

Subject to local law you may request: access to your personal information; correction of inaccurate information; deletion; restriction of processing; portability of information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; and objection to processing based on our legitimate interests, including any direct marketing, which you can object to at any time with no exceptions. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would prefer to hear from you first so we can resolve it.

An important limitation. Deleting your account removes your account data and disconnects your identity from your contributions. It cannot retroactively unpublish canon. A published chapter is a jointly created work read by the whole community, and other people's contributions and the story's integrity depend on it remaining intact. On deletion we can attribute your published contributions to a removed or anonymized creator instead of your display name, and we will do that on request. This is explained in full under Deleting Your Account.

Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Our current criteria:

  • Account records (identifier, display name, sign-in credential, profile) — for the life of the account, then deleted or anonymized within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where a longer period is required below.
  • Published canon and credited contributions — retained indefinitely as part of the permanent public story archive. On account deletion the attribution is anonymized; the text of a published chapter is not removed.
  • Unselected submissions — retained for the duration of the story week plus up to 12 months, so credits, disputes, and appeals can be reviewed, then deleted or de-identified.
  • Service logs and security records — typically up to 12 months, longer only where an active security or abuse investigation requires it.
  • Moderation records, reports, and appeals — up to 24 months after the decision, so repeat-offender and repeat-infringer policies can be applied consistently and appeals can be reviewed. Records supporting a termination may be kept longer to prevent ban evasion.
  • Copyright notices and counter-notices — retained as long as needed to operate our repeat-infringer policy and to meet legal recordkeeping expectations.
  • Purchase, tax, and accounting records — for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law, commonly up to 7 years.
  • Contact-form messages — up to 24 months, unless the matter requires longer.
  • Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten on the ordinary backup cycle.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your PipaBoy account at any time from within the application, and also from a web page we will host for that purpose so that deletion never requires reinstalling the app. Deletion removes your sign-in credential, profile, unpublished and unselected submissions, votes, and account settings. Points, levels, and rankings are removed with the account and cannot be restored.

What survives deletion, and why: published canon chapters remain, because they are collaborative works that other people also authored and that the community relies on; aggregate and de-identified statistics remain, because they no longer identify you; and records we are legally required to keep — such as transaction records and copyright-notice records — remain for their required period. On deletion we will anonymize your attribution on published contributions on request.

Security

We use encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored content, salted and hashed passwords, access control limited to staff who need it, logging of administrative access, and regular review of our providers. We support two-factor authentication and will encourage it for high-level creator accounts.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires notice, we will notify you and the relevant regulator within the timeframe the law sets — for the GDPR, that means notifying the supervisory authority without undue delay and within 72 hours where feasible.

Children and Young People

PipaBoy is not directed to children. Accounts are for users aged 16 and over. Our founding worlds contain supernatural horror themes that are not appropriate for children, and the platform publishes unmoderated-at-the-moment-of-submission creative writing from a large community, which is a further reason for the age floor.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, which is the threshold under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If we learn that we hold information from someone below our age floor, we will terminate the account and delete the information promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us should contact us using the form on this page and we will act on it.

We do not condition participation on providing more information than is reasonably necessary, we do not use children's information for advertising, and we publish the retention criteria above rather than keeping data indefinitely. Where an app marketplace provides an age-category or parental-consent signal under an applicable app-store accountability law, we will use that signal solely to apply the correct age gating, transmit it securely, and delete it once it has served that purpose.

International Transfers

PipaBoy is operated from the United States and uses service providers located in the United States and elsewhere. If you access PipaBoy from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own country.

Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — normally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision where one applies — and we assess whether additional technical measures are needed. You may request a copy of the safeguard we rely on.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The marketing site sets no cookies. The application, once launched, will use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for authentication, session management, security, and remembering your interface preferences. Any cookie that is not strictly necessary — including any analytics that is not exempt — will be set only with your consent, offered through a consent banner that makes refusing as easy as accepting, and your choice will be respected and revocable. We honour Global Privacy Control and similar opt-out preference signals as a valid opt-out where applicable law requires it.

Marketing and Notifications

Service messages — chapter drops, cutoff reminders, moderation outcomes, security alerts, and policy changes — are part of the service and are sent to account holders. Marketing email is separate, is sent only with your consent where consent is required, and every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link that works. Push notifications, if offered, are opt-in through your device and can be turned off at any time in your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product develops or the law changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change is material — for example a new category of collection, a new purpose, or a new category of recipient — we will give notice in the product or by email before it takes effect, and we will obtain consent where the law requires it.

Contact

Privacy questions, access or deletion requests, and complaints can be sent using the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us what you are asking for and which account it concerns, and we will respond within the period applicable law requires.

Section 02

Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of all products and services provided by PIPABOY ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), including pipaboy.com, the PipaBoy applications, story worlds and rooms, creator accounts, digital content and purchases, and any related community features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What PipaBoy Is

PipaBoy is a collaborative fiction and entertainment platform. Each week we publish a fictional world and an opening scene. Participants submit their own ideas for what happens next. At a fixed daily cutoff, an AI system reads the submissions, combines elements from them, and produces the next chapter, which becomes that world's canon. Audience members read, vote, and recognise creators. At the end of the cycle the story is archived and awards are given.

Everything published on PipaBoy is fiction. Worlds, characters, events, organizations, and outcomes are invented. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, or to real events, is coincidental unless a world explicitly and lawfully states otherwise.

PipaBoy is entertainment. It is not a mental-health service, a therapy product, a medical device, an educational credential, a news service, a prediction service, or professional advice of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a PipaBoy account. If the law where you live sets a higher age of digital consent or a higher age for entering a binding contract, you must meet that higher age, or have your parent or guardian enter into these Terms on your behalf where local law permits it. Individual worlds may carry a higher age rating, and access to those worlds requires meeting that rating.

You must not use PipaBoy if you have previously been terminated for a violation of these Terms, or if you are barred from receiving our services under applicable law, sanctions, or export controls.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under it. One person, one account, unless we explicitly authorize otherwise. You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share an account, and you may not operate additional accounts to inflate votes, rankings, submissions, or points, or to evade a suspension.

Choose a display name that is not misleading. You may not impersonate another person, a PipaBoy staff member or official creator, a public figure, or a brand. We may reclaim, change, or retire a display name that infringes rights, impersonates, or violates our Community Guidelines.

You can delete your account at any time. See Deleting Your Account for what deletion does and does not remove.

4. Contributions, Canon, and Rights

What you submit remains yours. By submitting it you grant PipaBoy the licence described in the Creator Content & Rights Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Please read it before submitting: it covers ownership, the licence you grant, credit, the effect of a contribution reaching canon, and how adaptations work. In short — you keep ownership of what you write; we get the rights we need to publish it, combine it into canon, archive it, promote it, and, subject to the additional consent described there, adapt it.

5. Selection Is Editorial and Discretionary

Whether a contribution is used, partly used, or not used is an editorial and creative outcome. It is not a competition entitlement, an employment relationship, a commission, or a promise of compensation. We make no guarantee that any submission will be selected, that any level will be reached, that any ranking will be achieved, that any award will be given, or that any story will be adapted. Levels, points, badges, and rankings are features of the service, may be adjusted or reset for balance or anti-abuse reasons, and have no monetary value.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You may not use PipaBoy to post illegal content, infringe others' rights, harass or threaten people, sexualise minors, promote violence or self-harm, spam, manipulate rankings, scrape the service at scale, reverse engineer it, interfere with it, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or use automated systems to submit content except where we expressly permit it.

7. Purchases and Virtual Items

Any paid feature, subscription, unlock, or virtual item is governed by the Purchases, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and, where you purchased through an app marketplace, by that marketplace's terms. Virtual items and points are a limited, revocable licence to use a feature of the service. They are not property, not currency, not a security, not redeemable for cash, and not transferable outside the service.

8. Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation

We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any world, room, feature, level, or the service as a whole, for maintenance, security, legal compliance, platform requirements, or product development. We will give reasonable advance notice of a change that materially disadvantages you, where it is practical to do so. Continued availability on a particular device, operating system, country, or marketplace is not guaranteed.

9. Our Intellectual Property

PipaBoy owns or licenses the platform itself, its software, its brand, its trade dress, and the official Seeds, world bibles, characters, artwork, music, and rules we publish. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you. You may quote and share published canon for ordinary personal, non-commercial, and journalistic purposes with attribution to PipaBoy and to the credited creators; you may not republish an entire story, sell it, or use it to train a machine-learning model without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PIPABOY disclaims all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, compatibility, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or preserved indefinitely, that AI output will be accurate, consistent, or to your taste, or that user content will be free of material you find objectionable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law, and nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PIPABOY and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or loss of content. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PIPABOY harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This does not apply where the claim arises from our own wrongdoing, and it does not apply to consumers to the extent local law prohibits it.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines, where we are required to by law, where your account is used for fraud or abuse, or where continued access would create a serious risk to other users or to the platform. Except where a delay would cause harm or the breach is severe or illegal, we will tell you the reason and give you a route to appeal, as set out in the Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including the licence to published canon, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the service and delete your account. Changes never apply retroactively to a dispute that arose before they took effect.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts and to the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, that right is unaffected and those protections continue to apply to you.

Before filing a claim, please contact us using the form on this page. Most issues are resolved faster that way, and we commit to responding.

16. General

These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and PIPABOY about the service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Where an app marketplace's terms conflict with these Terms for a purchase made through that marketplace, the marketplace's terms control for that purchase.

Section 03

Creator Content & Rights Policy

This is the most important policy on this page for anyone who submits ideas. It explains who owns what, what you are agreeing to when you submit, how credit works, and what happens if a story you contributed to becomes a film.

1. You Keep Ownership of What You Write

You retain all ownership and copyright in the original creative content you submit to PipaBoy. We do not ask you to assign, sell, or transfer your copyright, and we do not claim to be the author of your submission. You may reuse your own submission elsewhere, subject only to the honest caveat in section 5 about what happens once an idea has been fused into a collaborative chapter.

2. The Licence You Grant Us

By submitting content to PipaBoy you grant PIPABOY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, perform, distribute, translate, excerpt, and create derivative works from that content, and to combine it with other users' content and with our own material, for the following purposes and no others:

  • Operating the service: receiving your submission, processing it through the nightly synthesis, and publishing the resulting chapter.
  • Publishing and archiving canon: keeping the finished story permanently readable in the PipaBoy archive.
  • Attribution and credits: displaying your contribution alongside your display name, level, and credits.
  • Promotion of the platform and the story: quoting excerpts and moments in PipaBoy's own marketing, social channels, trailers, and press materials, with credit to your display name.
  • Safety, moderation, and legal compliance: reviewing, classifying, restricting, or removing content, and responding to legal requests.
  • Improving PipaBoy's own systems, on the terms described in the AI Disclosure & Synthesis Policy.

This licence is perpetual and irrevocable only as to content that has been published as canon or that has already been incorporated into a published chapter, because a published collaborative work cannot be unwound without destroying other people's contributions. For submissions that were never selected and never incorporated, the licence ends when you delete the submission or your account, and we will delete or de-identify those submissions on the schedule set out under Retention.

The licence does not permit us to sell your standalone submission as a product, to license it to an unrelated third party outside the purposes above, or to adapt it into a film or other production without the separate consent described in section 6.

3. What You Promise Us

Every time you submit, you confirm that: the content is your own original work; it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights; it is not confidential information belonging to someone else; you have not copied it from another work, another user, or an AI tool in a way that would breach that tool's terms; and it complies with our Community Guidelines. If you are submitting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to grant the licence above.

4. Credit and Moral Rights

We commit to crediting you. Where a contribution of yours is used in canon, your display name is shown on the chapter's contributor list, in the story's permanent archive record, and — where the relevant level has been reached — in permanent canon credits. If you change your display name, credits follow the change. If you delete your account, we anonymize your credits on request.

To the extent permitted by the law of your country, and only to the extent necessary to operate the service as described in this policy, you agree not to assert moral rights of integrity against the ordinary editorial acts this platform requires — namely combining your idea with other people's, editing it for length, tone, tense, continuity, and world-rule consistency, and publishing the result as a single chapter. This is a practical necessity of collaborative fiction, not a waiver of your authorship: your right of attribution is not waived, and we affirmatively undertake to credit you. In jurisdictions where moral rights cannot be waived, nothing here purports to waive them.

5. What "Canon" Means, Honestly

When the synthesis runs, a published chapter is normally a fusion of elements from several people. One person's character may appear alongside another person's plot turn and a third person's detail, all rewritten into continuous prose. The published chapter is therefore a collaborative work in which PipaBoy, the AI synthesis, and multiple credited contributors all played a part.

You continue to own your own original submission as you wrote it. You do not own the published chapter as a whole, and you cannot separately license, sell, or veto the published chapter, because it also contains other people's work and ours. Equally, no other contributor can claim your original submission. If you reuse your own idea elsewhere later, reuse your own words — not the fused chapter.

6. Adaptations, Films, and Paid Productions

Some finished stories will be selected for adaptation into a short film, animation, AI film, or interactive video. Being credited in canon does not by itself grant us adaptation rights and does not by itself entitle you to payment.

If a story you contributed to is selected, we will contact the credited contributors whose work is material to the adaptation and ask for a separate, written adaptation agreement. That agreement — not this policy — will set out the scope of rights granted, credit, and any compensation or revenue participation. You are free to decline. If you decline, we will either adapt the story without your specific material or not proceed; declining never costs you your existing canon credits, level, points, or standing on the platform.

The general licence in section 2 remains limited to operating, publishing, archiving, and promoting the platform. It is not an adaptation licence, and we will not treat it as one.

7. Official Creator Seats and Collaborations

Higher creator levels can unlock an invitation to build a world with us, an official creator seat, or a paid collaboration. Those arrangements are governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, deliverables, rights, credit, and payment. Reaching a level does not automatically create such an agreement, and we may decline to offer one. Nothing on this platform creates an employment relationship, a partnership, or a joint venture between you and PIPABOY.

8. Feedback and Unsolicited Ideas

If you send us feedback, feature suggestions, or ideas about the platform itself — as distinct from creative content submitted inside a story world — you agree we may use it without obligation, compensation, or confidentiality. Please do not send us unsolicited pitches for worlds, products, or business proposals expecting confidentiality; if you want to pitch something, contact us first so we can put an appropriate agreement in place.

9. Worlds Based on Third-Party IP

Where a world is operated under licence from a rights holder, additional terms supplied by that rights holder may apply to contributions made inside that world, including different rules on ownership, adaptation, and permitted content. Any such terms will be shown before you enter the world and will apply only inside it. Where those terms conflict with this policy, they control inside that world to the extent disclosed to you in advance.

10. No Third-Party Model Training on Your Work

We do not license or sell PipaBoy user content to third parties for training their machine-learning models, and we instruct the AI providers we use not to train their general-purpose models on PipaBoy content. Our own use of contributions to improve PipaBoy's selection, safety, and synthesis systems is described in the AI Disclosure & Synthesis Policy. We also apply technical measures intended to discourage bulk scraping of the archive by outside parties, though no measure of that kind is complete.

Section 04

AI Disclosure & Synthesis Policy

Everything published as a PipaBoy chapter is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence, working from creative ideas written by human participants and from a world bible written by PipaBoy. We label it, and we never present it as human-written or as a factual account.

1. Clear and Standing Disclosure

PipaBoy is an AI-assisted creative fiction service. You are told this before you interact with it, in the product, and here. Every published chapter carries an indication that it was produced by AI synthesis from community submissions. Every story is fiction and is presented as fiction. We do not publish AI-generated material about real people, real events, or matters of public interest dressed up as reporting, and we do not produce deepfakes of real individuals.

2. What the AI Actually Does

At the daily cutoff, the synthesis process reads every eligible submission in a world and then: groups related ideas; assesses originality, coherence, and craft; checks proposals against the world's established rules and prior canon; selects and merges elements from multiple submissions; and writes a continuous chapter. It is not a vote count, and the most-liked submission does not automatically win.

The process is AI-assisted and human-supervised. PipaBoy sets the world rules, sets the safety constraints, monitors output, and can hold, edit, or reject a chapter before it publishes. Where a chapter has been through substantive human editorial review, a person at PipaBoy takes editorial responsibility for publishing it.

3. What the AI Does Not Do

  • It does not decide anything with a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
  • It does not read your account email, password, payment data, or IP address as part of story generation.
  • It does not attempt to infer your health, beliefs, sexuality, politics, or other protected characteristics, and it is not permitted to profile you for those purposes.
  • It does not give advice. Nothing generated on PipaBoy is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and no character's statement is a statement by PipaBoy.

4. Automated Moderation and Human Review

We use automated classifiers to screen submissions and generated output for illegal content, sexual content involving minors, credible threats, doxxing, and other prohibited material. Automated screening is fast but imperfect. Any account-level enforcement decision — suspension, level reset, or termination — is reviewed by a human before it becomes final where practicable, and in every case you can request human review through the appeals route in the Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy.

5. AI Providers and Model Training

We use third-party AI providers to run the synthesis and safety classification. They act as our processors under written contract, may process your submissions only to provide the service to us, and are instructed not to use PipaBoy content to train their general-purpose foundation models. We use PipaBoy content to improve PipaBoy's own selection, safety, and synthesis behaviour, working with creative content and outcomes rather than with account identity, and aggregating or de-identifying wherever that is workable.

6. Provenance and Labelling

Published chapters are labelled as AI-synthesised community fiction in the product, in the archive, and in any export or embed we provide. Where we distribute images, audio, or video generated with AI, we apply the provenance and disclosure practices required of us at the time, including embedded provenance metadata and a visible indication of AI origin where applicable law requires one. We do not remove or obscure provenance signals attached to content by other providers.

7. Accuracy, Consistency, and Taste

AI output can be inconsistent, can contradict earlier canon, and can simply be worse than you hoped. We do not warrant that any chapter will be accurate, coherent with everything before it, or to your taste. Where a chapter breaks a world's rules badly, we may issue a correction, a retcon note, or in a rare case withdraw and reissue a chapter; we will say so when we do.

8. Reporting an AI Output Problem

If a generated chapter contains something that should not be there — a real person's private information, material that appears copied from an existing work, prohibited content, or a serious world-rule break — report it in the product or through the form on this page. We treat AI output under the same reporting and removal process as user content.

Section 05

Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy

PipaBoy publishes horror, mystery, and other dark fiction. Fiction is allowed to be frightening, morally uncomfortable, violent, and sad. These rules are about conduct and about a small set of content that is never acceptable regardless of framing — not about keeping stories tame.

1. Never Permitted

  • Sexual content involving minors in any form, including text, drawings, and any depiction of a real or fictional character presented as a minor. No fictional framing makes this acceptable. We report where the law requires it.
  • Content that is illegal where we operate or where you are, including terrorist content, incitement, and material that facilitates serious crime.
  • Credible threats of violence, incitement to violence against a real person or group, or content glorifying a real atrocity or its perpetrator.
  • Doxxing: posting a real person's address, phone number, workplace, identity documents, financial details, or other private information, including your own.
  • Targeted harassment of a real person, including another user, a staff member, or a creator, and coordinated pile-ons.
  • Hate speech: content that dehumanises or incites hatred against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or immigration status. A villain may hold ugly views; the submission may not be a vehicle for real-world hate.
  • Sexual content involving real, identifiable people without their consent, and non-consensual intimate imagery of any kind.
  • Instructional harm: workable instructions for weapons, explosives, poisons, or attacks; and content promoting or instructing self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. Depicting despair in fiction is allowed; providing a method is not.
  • Impersonation of a real person, a brand, an official creator, or PipaBoy staff.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, and links intended to defraud or compromise other users.

2. Integrity of the Story

  • Do not submit content you did not write, including work copied from books, films, fan fiction, other users, or generated wholesale by an outside AI tool and passed off as yours.
  • Do not run multiple accounts, vote rings, bots, or scripted submissions to inflate points, rankings, awards, or the chance of selection.
  • Do not flood a world with near-duplicate submissions, spam, advertising, or off-topic promotion.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate the synthesis with prompt injection, hidden instructions, or attempts to make the system ignore world rules or safety constraints.
  • Do not trade, sell, or buy accounts, credits, canon placements, or awards.

3. Content Warnings and Ratings

Each world carries a content rating and a list of themes it may contain. Submissions must stay within the rating of the world they are made in. Where a world permits intense material, we will label it, and audience members can choose not to enter. See the Age, Safety & Content Standards Policy.

4. How Moderation Works

Content is screened automatically before it can be used in synthesis, and is reviewed by a human when it is flagged, reported, or borderline. Depending on severity and history we may: decline a submission; remove published content; add a content warning or restrict a world; withhold points or credits; reduce a level; suspend an account temporarily; or terminate an account permanently.

We aim to act proportionately. A first minor breach normally results in a removal and a warning. Severe breaches, and anything in the "never permitted" list, can result in immediate permanent termination and, where the law requires, a report to the competent authority.

5. Reporting Content — Notice and Action

Anyone, whether or not they have an account, can report content. Use the in-product report control or the form at the bottom of this page. A useful report includes: a link or identifier for the content, an explanation of why you believe it is illegal or violates these guidelines, your name and email so we can respond (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material), and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.

We will confirm receipt of a report where you gave us contact details, act on it without undue delay, and tell you the outcome and the grounds for it. Decisions are made diligently, objectively, and proportionately, with regard to the rights of everyone involved, including freedom of expression.

6. Statement of Reasons

If we restrict, remove, demote, or refuse to publish your content, or if we suspend or terminate your account, we will give you a clear and specific statement of reasons. It will identify what was affected, the ground for the decision — whether it was illegality or a breach of these guidelines — the facts relied on, whether automated means were used in detecting or making the decision, and how to appeal. We provide this except where doing so would be unlawful, would compromise an ongoing investigation, or where the content was manifestly illegal and related to a serious criminal offence.

7. Appeals and Human Review

You may appeal any moderation decision within six months of being notified of it. Appeals are free, are handled by a person who was not responsible for the original decision, and are decided on the merits rather than by automation alone. We will tell you the outcome and the reasoning. If we got it wrong, we reverse it and restore what we can — including points, credits, and level where they were affected. Where the law gives you access to an out-of-court dispute settlement body or a regulator, our decision does not remove that right, and we will point you to it.

8. Repeat Violations and Ban Evasion

We operate a graduated policy for repeat violations and suspend accounts that frequently provide manifestly illegal content, after warning where warning is appropriate. We also act against manifestly unfounded reports and abusive use of the reporting system. Creating a new account to evade a suspension is itself a violation and results in termination of the new account.

9. Government and Legal Requests

We act on valid legal orders from competent authorities. We will inform the affected user of an order and its scope where we are legally permitted to do so, and we will push back on requests that are overbroad, improperly issued, or not grounded in law.

10. Your Own Safety

PipaBoy is fiction and entertainment. It is not a support service, a crisis service, or a mental-health provider, and neither PipaBoy staff nor other users are your care team. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, call 116 123 to reach Samaritans. Elsewhere, contact your local emergency or crisis service. If you see a user expressing intent to harm themselves or someone else, report it — we will route it to a human quickly.

Section 07

Accounts, Levels & Virtual Items Policy

1. Why an Account Exists

An account exists for one reason: so your contributions, credits, level, and standing persist. It is not an identity check and it is not a marketing list. We ask for a sign-in credential and a display name. We do not ask for your legal name, address, phone number, government ID, or date of birth beyond confirming you meet the age floor. See Accounts — What We Collect and Why.

2. Sign-In Options

You may sign in with an email address, or with a supported third-party or app-marketplace sign-in. Where your provider offers a private-relay or hidden-email option, it is fully supported and we treat the relay address as your address for all purposes, including account recovery and service messages. We do not require you to link a social account, and we do not read your contacts, friend graph, or posts from any provider you use to sign in.

3. Display Names

Your display name is public and is what appears on credits, rankings, and canon. Use a handle rather than your real name — we recommend it. You may change your display name; credits follow the change. We may reclaim a name that impersonates, infringes, or violates the Community Guidelines.

4. Account Security

Keep your credentials secret and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We support two-factor authentication and strongly encourage it for accounts with significant creator standing. We will never ask you for your password.

5. Levels, Points, Rankings, and Awards

Points are earned when your contributions reach canon, influence canon, or are recognised by the audience. Levels unlock creative scope — longer submissions, the ability to propose characters, objects, and world rules, access to advanced story rooms, official creator seats, and permanent canon credits.

  • Levels grant creative scope. They never guarantee that a submission will be selected. A new account with a better idea can and should win the night.
  • Points, levels, badges, rankings, and awards have no monetary value, are not currency, are not property, are not a security, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be sold, traded, or transferred.
  • We may adjust point values, level thresholds, and ranking formulas for game balance, fairness, or anti-abuse reasons, and may reverse points obtained through manipulation.
  • Rankings are periodic and may reset between story cycles or seasons. Permanent canon credits, once awarded, are not reset.
  • There are no randomised paid rewards, loot boxes, or wagering of any kind on PipaBoy. Nothing on the platform is gambling and nothing is redeemable for real-world value.

6. Inactive Accounts

We may mark an account inactive after a long period without sign-in, and after further notice to your registered address we may close it and release the display name. Published canon credits survive account closure in anonymized form.

7. Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account at any time, from inside the application and from a web page we host for that purpose, so deletion never requires reinstalling the app. Deletion is described under Deleting Your Account. In short: your account, profile, unselected submissions, votes, points, and level are deleted; published canon remains but your attribution is anonymized on request; and records the law requires us to keep are kept for their required period. Deletion is permanent and points and levels cannot be restored.

8. App Marketplace Relationship

Where you obtain a PipaBoy application through an app marketplace, that marketplace's terms and its privacy practices apply alongside ours, and it — not PipaBoy — handles purchases, refunds, and subscription management for transactions made there. Where a marketplace supplies an age category or parental-consent signal under an applicable app-store accountability law, we use it only to apply the correct age gating, transmit it securely, and delete it once it has served that purpose. We will notify marketplaces of material changes to these terms, our privacy policy, or our monetization features where the applicable rules require it.

9. Acceptable Automated Access

Do not scrape the archive at scale, run bots against the service, or use automated tooling to submit content, vote, or create accounts. We publish access rules for machine clients and may make a read API available under separate terms; anything outside that is unauthorized access.

Section 08

Age, Safety & Content Standards Policy

1. Age Floor

PipaBoy accounts are for users aged 16 and over. The platform is not directed to children, is not designed for children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under our age floor. Where local law requires a higher age for consent or for entering a contract, that higher age applies to you.

2. Age Assurance

We apply age assurance proportionate to the risk of the content involved, using self-declaration at sign-up, the age-category signals supplied by app marketplaces where they are available, and stronger assurance for any world rated for adults. We would rather use a marketplace's existing signal than collect identity documents, and we do not want to hold your ID.

3. Content Ratings and Warnings

Every world carries a rating and a list of themes it may contain — for example supernatural horror, body horror, psychological distress, violence, death, or references to substance use. Warnings appear before you enter a world and on individual chapters where a chapter is significantly more intense than its world's baseline. You can leave a world at any time and the archive is browsable with warnings intact.

Our founding worlds are supernatural horror. They are intended to unsettle. That is not a defect.

4. Risk Assessment and Safety Duties

PipaBoy carries out and keeps under review an assessment of the risk that illegal content, and content harmful to children, appears on the service, and of how our design and features affect that risk. We record the assessment, review it before making a significant design change, and update it as the platform grows. A named senior person is accountable for our online safety duties. We cooperate with the relevant regulators and respond to their information requests.

5. Safety by Design

  • Submissions pass automated safety screening before they can enter synthesis.
  • Generated chapters pass safety screening before publication.
  • Reporting controls are available on every chapter and every contribution.
  • Accounts are not searchable by real name, phone number, or email, and we do not offer people-search or contact-matching features.
  • There are no private direct messages between strangers at launch. If we introduce messaging, it will be opt-in, will carry its own safety controls, and this policy will be updated first.
  • We do not use engagement-maximising infinite feeds, streak-loss pressure, or dark patterns to keep you on the service, and we do not use dark patterns in consent or cancellation flows.

6. Not a Mental-Health Service

PipaBoy is entertainment. It is not therapy, counselling, crisis support, or a medical or mental-health service, and no output, character, or staff member provides clinical advice. Dark fiction can affect people differently; take a break when you need one.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, call 116 123 for Samaritans. Outside those countries, contact your local emergency or crisis service.

7. Accessibility

We aim to make PipaBoy usable with screen readers and keyboard navigation, to maintain sufficient contrast, to allow text resizing, and to offer a reduced-motion setting. Disclosures required by law, including AI labelling, are provided in an accessible form. If something on the platform is not accessible to you, tell us using the form on this page and we will treat it as a defect.

8. Events and In-Person Activities

PipaBoy may occasionally run optional in-person or livestreamed events such as screenings, finale nights, or creator meet-ups. Attendance is voluntary and recreational. Where an event requires registration, a fee, an event-specific waiver, or a photography and recording consent, those terms will be provided at booking and control over this general policy to the extent they conflict. Event fees and their cancellation terms are covered in the Purchases, Refunds & Cancellation Policy. You are responsible for your own conduct, belongings, and health at an event, and we may refuse or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, harassing, or unlawful.

Section 09

Purchases, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

PipaBoy is free to read and free to participate at the base level. This section governs any paid feature we offer now or in future.

1. Where You Bought It Determines Who Refunds It

If you purchased through an app marketplace, that marketplace processes the payment and handles refunds under its own policy and timelines. Ask them first — in most cases we cannot process a refund for a transaction we did not process. If you purchased directly from PipaBoy, contact us through the form on this page.

2. Digital Content and Refunds

Digital content, unlocks, virtual items, and subscription periods are, as a general matter, non-refundable once purchased and delivered — subject to your mandatory legal rights, which always take precedence over this paragraph.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost only once supply has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right — we ask for both explicitly at checkout, and if we did not, your withdrawal right remains. Nothing here limits your statutory rights in respect of digital content that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

If you are a consumer elsewhere, including in Australia, Canada, or a U.S. state with applicable consumer protection law, your non-excludable statutory rights and guarantees continue to apply and this policy does not limit them.

We will also refund at our discretion where a purchase failed, was duplicated, was made in error by a minor on your device, or where a feature you paid for was withdrawn before you could reasonably use it.

3. Subscriptions

Any subscription renews for successive periods until cancelled. We will tell you the price, the billing period, and the renewal date before you subscribe, and we will send a renewal reminder where applicable law requires one. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; cancellation is available through the same route you used to subscribe, in as few steps as signing up took. A price change is notified in advance and never applies to a period you have already paid for.

4. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can resolve it. We may suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback until the matter is settled.

5. Event Bookings and Cancellation

Where PipaBoy sells tickets or places for an in-person or livestreamed event, the terms shown at booking govern the fee, the cancellation window, and any refund or credit. Unless the booking terms say otherwise: cancellations made more than 7 days before the event receive a full refund; cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours before receive a credit toward a future event; cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are not refunded. If PipaBoy cancels or materially reschedules an event, you receive a full refund or a transfer to the new date, at your choice. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

6. Taxes and Currency

Prices are shown in the currency of the store or checkout you use and may exclude tax until checkout, where applicable tax is calculated and shown. You are responsible for any taxes we are not required to collect.

7. Pricing Errors

If a price is displayed in obvious error, we may cancel affected orders and refund them in full rather than fulfil at the erroneous price. We will tell you if this happens.

Section 10

Communication & Support Policy

1. How to Reach Us

The form at the bottom of this page reaches PipaBoy for support, privacy requests, content reports, copyright notices, appeals, press, and partnership enquiries. Tell us which one it is in the first line and it gets routed faster. In-product reporting and appeal controls are the fastest route for anything about a specific piece of content.

2. Response Times

We aim to acknowledge messages within two business days and to resolve routine matters within five. Safety reports involving imminent harm, child sexual abuse material, or credible threats are prioritised and handled as quickly as we can. Legally-timed requests — privacy rights requests, copyright notices, and appeals — are answered within the period the applicable law sets, and we will tell you if we need a permitted extension.

3. Not a 24/7 Service

PipaBoy is a small team and does not operate a 24-hour support desk. We are not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency number or the crisis resources listed in the Age, Safety & Content Standards Policy.

4. Service Messages Versus Marketing

Service messages — chapter drops, cutoff reminders, moderation outcomes, security alerts, and policy changes — are part of the service. Marketing email is separate, requires your consent where consent is required, and can be unsubscribed from in one click without affecting your account.

5. Conduct in Support Channels

We will be straight with you and we ask the same. Abuse, threats, or harassment directed at our team ends the conversation and may result in account action. Disagreeing with a decision, forcefully, does not.

6. Languages

We currently provide support in English. Where the law requires a policy or notice in another language, we will provide it. Machine translations we offer for convenience are not the authoritative version; the English text controls unless local law says otherwise.

For privacy requests, content reports, copyright notices, appeals, or any other question, reach out below
